June 1: Last night I cried and cried at 1am. Maman took me to the doc today as I was also coughing and sure enough: my 1st Singaporean ear infection.
June 1: On Sunday, my friends and I had a pizza party by the pool (with our parents of course).
June 1: Got milk? Enjoying my first (homemade) strawberry milkshake.
June1: This afternoon, Maman and I built a little pillow cabin. So much fun.
June 3: Walking home with Jelia. Jelia and I very much enjoy these walks home, cooking and eating imaginary food, playing in the playground and helping the gremlins with their chores.
June 3: Yesterday, my friends Jonas and Marie came over for a playdate. We had some yummy fruit and cakes.
June 3: We played with the wolf, Dila the dog and Carlos the cat (shortly thereafter I tried to feed the wolf some water from Lhasa's bowl. He did not drink much but got a good bath in the process).
June 3: We sang some songs (here twinkle twinkle..) and overall had a jolly good time together.
June 3: All my friends' mommys have big tummies so the other day I pointed to maman's tummy and said "maman bebe?". Maman told me there was no baby.
June 3: Maman asked me if someday I wanted a little baby like my friend Sam has. Yay yay! I said excitedly but then got sad because Maman said not now.
June 3: Last week, I had my first diaperless evening. It was quite thrilling though I had to check what happened if I decided to pee without a diaper on... a wet mess! I will know for next time!
June 9: A big hug and giant wishes for a speedy recovery to my friend Romy.
June 10: Taking my nightly constitutional with my friend Katy. We even matched that day!
June 10: Yesterday, Daniel & I (also matching) went to the national museum's kid exhibit. We played with some wheels...
June 10: Made clay figures (I made an island with many many flowers and trees).
June 10: Played dress up...
June 10: Played in the cloth cabin...
June 10: Drew some pictures (I still love drawing fish & am getting better at holding a pen, picking colors & concentrating).
June 10: But our favorite activity was probably rolling around on the floor and climbing the rolling benches!

June 25: [As I said above,] The day before heading out to Manila, I went to the kids exhibit at the Art Museum with Daniel. We had an amazing time. Here we are putting stickers on the elephant.

June 25: Before Manila, I turned 23 months. At 23 mos I am 91cm and 13.5kg and a smart and sociable little guy.
June 25: At least that is what my teachers said at my first ever parent-teacher conference and in my first report card!
June 25: For the conference, I made a poster with pics of me engaged in various school activities. School is such fun!
June 28: We arrived in Manila late at night and I happily into my nest.
June 28: On my first day in Manila, we found a great children's playground.
June 28: I had a blast riding all the various animals.
June 28: Riding the dog.

June 28: On the see-saw. I love the see-saw and had to be peeled away from it when it was time to go.
June 28: We even found a Ya Kun Kaya in Manila. The food was not as good but they had napkins!!
June 28: After breakfast, we went to the "fruit and vegetable museum". Such fun. They even had fake banana trees.
June 28: And some cool boxes to open and play with.
June 28: And even a whole panel of dried fish.
June 29: Happy father's day (belatedly on twitter). I love you Daddy. And happy belated father's day to all fathers.
June 29: When we arrived at the LRT stop, it was pouring.
June 29: After the rain relented, we made it (but then I was napping) to the Chinese cemetery where the dead live in two-story buildings with bathrooms, bathrooms, bedrooms and aircon.
June 29: Strolling around with auntie Charmie in the streets of Manila.
June 29: Walking around in Intramuros, the old town center.
June 29: Climbing the ramparts of Fort Santiago.

June 29: I even found some flowers in the fort.

June 29: During the trip, I kept wanting to take pictures of maman: "photo maman, photo maman". Here is one of my many pics of maman.
June 29: Overall, I had a great time in the Philippines (mmm good food and nice people). Congrats to Art and Jeremy on your wedding.
June 30: Since I got back from Manila, I have been eating many more roasted vegetables. Mmmm roasted asparagus. Thank you "la petite vegan".
June 30: Playdate with Jonas, Marie and Sam so much fun and such yummy veggies and fruit.
June 30: I love cooking elaborate imaginary meals. Garlic, garlic. More garlic I chant.
